UEM Kolkata hosts Jigisha 2024, a vibrant celebration of knowledge and culture

Pragya, the official quiz club of the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata, successfully organized the third edition of their annual quiz festival, Jigisha, from August 23 to 25, 2024. The event has become a major attraction for quiz enthusiasts across the country, offering a platform for intellectual engagement and cultural exchange.

The UEM Kolkata campus was transformed for the three-day event, with hand-painted artworks celebrating Indian achievements lining the pathways. The festival featured six unique quizzes, hosted by members of the quiz club, ranging from general knowledge to pop culture and sports. Quizzes like Jana Ojana, an inter-school general quiz, and Friday Night Blockbuster, an online MELA quiz, drew nationwide participation.

With nearly 1100 registrations and around 600-700 participants showing up, Jigisha 2024 marked a new milestone in the Kolkata quizzing scene. The event offered exciting prizes, swags, and certificates, ensuring a rewarding experience for all attendees.

The success of Jigisha 2024 is attributed to the dedicated teamwork of the organizers, who are already looking forward to next year’s edition.
